Brûlèed Grapefruit

Ingredients 

2 large pink grapefruit

4 tablespoons coconut sugar

1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon

Pinch of cloves {optional}

 

Directions

Slice each grapefruit in half

Slice the bottom 1/4" off of each grapefruit to create a flat surface to prevent rolling

Sprinkle the top of each grapefruit with 1 tablespoon of coconut sugar and a shake of spices

Broil in the oven {watching carefully} for a about 2 minutes or use a kitchen torch

Grapefruit is done when sugars are carmelized and syrupy
